New Ward Project

This past week we broke ground for the building of a new patient ward. It’s very exciting to see the local church and others in the village coming together to help with this project. We’re grateful for the partnership with West Lawn United Methodist Church in Pennsylvania, one of our supporting churches and also the church my parents attend and where I grew up. They are sponsoring the project and also sending a team in May to help with the completion of the ward. The new ward will provide 15 more inpatient beds, divided in to three rooms to give us the flexibility of using them as female, male and pediatric rooms. The first part of the foundation that holds the outer wall has been poured, and we anticipate placing the base cement blocks in the next couple weeks. -Jon
